Meaning of the ayah

Ayah 5 of Surah Al-Baqarah states: أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ, which translates to: "Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful." This ayah identifies a specific group of people characterized by their faith and righteous actions.
