Praising those who ask forgiveness on the last night, Allah says -

كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ ﴿١٧﴾ وَبِالْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Kaanoo qaleelam minal layli maa yahja'oon. Wa bil ashaari hum yastaghfiroon.

(17) They used to sleep but little of the night, (18) And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness. [2]
