اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِيْ بِمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ (وَاجْعَلْنِيْ خَيْرًا مِمَّا يَظُنُّوْنَ)

Allaahumma laa tu'aakhidhnee bimaa yaqooloona, waghfir lee maa laa ya'lamoona [waj'alnee khayram-mimmaa yadhunnoon]

Oh Allah, do not call me to account for what they say and forgive me for what they have no knowledge of [and make me better than they imagine]. It was the custom of the Companions that they would feel discomfort if anyone called them righteous or praised them. If someone praise them, they would say- (The dua is mentioned above)
